We have been using our map skills this week and locating seas, cities and rivers. It was quite tricky as we also had to use an atlas and follow the key! In P.E we have also been timing ourselves and seeing a difference in the time with the different stacks that we have learnt. Some of the timings have been super! We have been continuing our work on fables in English and have also started a new unit in Maths which involves multiplication and division.

We are so proud of our self portraits that we have created in the the style of the artist Nelson Makamo. To begin with we all had our photo taken, then we used carbon paper to trace our outline. After that we shaded the darker areas on our pictures. Finally we added colour to replicate the artist's style.

We've had a busy week in Year 3! Our computing lesson was on Purple Mash where we did some coding.
Today all the Year 3 children had great fun practicing skills on their scooters. We learned how to use our breaks and all different ways of stopping. Some of the skills we learned were helping us to balance well and we found out which leg we used best for scooting.
Later we were taught lots of safety tips such as stopping at kerbs; never using phones or wearing headphones; wearing the right safety equipment as well as bright clothing and many other tips.
We had great fun!
