Week beginning 13th September
We've had a busy week in Year 3! In English we have been writing poetry about different seasons, in Maths we have been looking at numbers on a number line and in our Art lesson we drew a portrait in the style of the artist Nelson Makamo. Our computing lesson was on Purple Mash where we did some coding.
Today all the Year 3 children had great fun practicing skills on their scooters. We learned how to use our breaks and all different ways of stopping. Some of the skills we learned were helping us to balance well and we found out which leg we used best for scooting.
Later we were taught lots of safety tips such as stopping at kerbs; never using phones or wearing headphones; wearing the right safety equipment as well as bright clothing and many other tips.
We had great fun!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
