We encourage all children to join in on Sports Day and we celebrate their participation.
Please apply sun lotion to your child before they come to school. Named sun hats are also recommended. The children can wear these whilst they are waiting for races.
Spectators are welcome to bring their own garden chairs to watch the events on the day, there will be a designated area which will be clearly sign posted. In accordance with our Health and Safety Policy, can we remind you that the school and its grounds are no smoking areas.
As we are expecting lots of spectators, car parking around school may be difficult. Please can we ask that spectators walk to school if possible to ease the congestion. If you do have to drive to school, please park considerately and do not block our neighbours’ driveways.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the good weather continues. If the weather is inclement, unfortunately sports day will have to be cancelled and rearranged. If this happens we will inform you via the school app and via school website as soon as possible in the morning.
We look forward to seeing you on Sports Day.
Yours sincerely
Mrs L Webb
