Why go to Pre-school?
About our pre-school
Lostock Hall Community Primary School Pre-school has its own Teacher and full time Pre-school Nursery Nurse.
We have a wide range of activities in our continuous provision which we continually develop/adapt to our children’s interests and needs. These include:
Indoor provision
Outdoor provision
How to register your interest for a place
The Pre-school takes children from 3 – 4 years. There are places for 26 children in each of the two sessions. Pupils are eligible to attend from the term after they turn 3 and we have intakes in September and January.
Pre-school sessions are as follows:
Morning Sessions 8.40 – 11.40am
Afternoon Sessions 12.10 – 3.10pm
Full Day 8.40 – 3.10pm
Pupils have to attend every day for either 5 mornings (8.40-am-11.40am) or 5 afternoons (12.10pm-3.10pm), with the option to do some or all full days depending on availability. Pupils staying for full days bring a packed lunch each day.
The extended full day provision can be paid for or you can use a government funded 30 hours free child care code. Please see the website https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/ for more information.
Applications for September 2024 and January 2025 closed on 31st December 2023.
We are now taking expressions of interest for September 2025 & January 2026. Please complete the form via the link below to register your interest for a place at our pre-school. We will contact you when it's time to make a formal application.
