Wednesday 24th March

Good Morning everyone, unfortunately there is no water in Pre-School today so we can't come in but hopefully we will all be back again tomorrow.

As we start to look forward to Easter and the Easter Bunny visiting, our activities today will relate to Easter and we'd like to take advantage of the sunshine outside too!

Daily phonics:

Before beginning your Literacy activity please have a look at all the letters we have been learning so far in Pre-School this year. Can you say the sound and action for each letter?

A reminder of the songs and actions can be found on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvJKc0Ord1g

Literacy:

Look at a recipe on how to make chocolate Easter nests. Please write a shopping list and send it to the Pre-School email, of what we will need ie chocolate, rice Krispies/ cornflakes/ shredded wheat, small chocolate eggs to make the Easter nests at Pre-School tomorrow

Mrs Whalley can then visit the shops this afternoon with your shopping list to buy all the ingredients ready for tomorrow

Please remember it does not need to be the correct letters or spelling - the children just need the confidence to make marks to represent their ideas

Maths:

Pretend you are the Easter Bunny who has hidden some Easter eggs (or other small object) outside. Ask someone in your family to try and find the eggs you have hidden. May be give them some clues! Use positional language to describe their hiding place ie behind, next to, under, on top, in front
