Our Final day!

The children have had a fantastic year in Pre-school! We wish all of our children moving up to Reception so much luck. We know you are all now ready to spread your wings and will be AMAZING throughout your school journey. Thank you so much to all the children and parents for your lovely cards and words, and we are very grateful for the incredible gifts! Cohort 2025-2026 we have loved every moment!

Mrs Whalley and Miss Worsfold will pop in on Monday to welcome you all on your final day in Pre-school!

A Dinosaur Week!

This week the children have learnt the letter 'x' and crafted a dinosaur skeleton! They have collected and counted dinosaurs, matching each group to the correct number and then found the overall total. All of Pre- School have loved some time to run on the school field also this week. 

Sports Day

Heatwave

The children have been superstars this week in the sunshine and heat. They have coped well with a change in their routine and not being able to play in our outside provision.

We enjoyed making and eating ice lollies and ice-pops. They helped cool us down.

In Phonics, we learnt the ‘u’ sound, so Miss Worsfold used the hosepipe to make a rain shower we could dance under. It was lots of fun and we soon dried off in the sunshine!

On Friday we joined the rest of the school to perform Dance From The Heart.

Seaside Fair

We have had another busy week in Pre-School, showing Mrs Whalley how much we have learnt since beginning Pre-School last September. We are all superstars!

The children enjoyed playing with our funfair toys in our small- world and loved serving and wrapping fish and chips in our Beach Hut.

Today we began practising for our Sport’s Day. All the children were fantastic at the different races and are very excited for you to watch us on Wednesday 1^st July.
