Welcome from the Chair of Governors

As Chair of Governors I am delighted to welcome you and your child to Lostock Hall Community Primary School.

This is an excellent school where the dedicated staff work tirelessly to achieve the highest standards and ensure the school lives up to its vision; ‘Be the best that you can be’! The school’s caring, inclusive approach allows children to settle in quickly and feel part of school life, something I had first-hand experience of when I chose to enroll my son into Reception Class.

The school has a friendly and protective atmosphere where the children know they belong and are valued. The school offers a tremendously stimulating learning environment that is fit for purpose in the 21^st century.

The staff work hard to constantly improve on what is already recognised as an outstanding school by Ofsted. The governing body works continually in a supportive and challenging role with the Leadership Team and this collaborative approach brings out the best in everyone.

My aim as Chair of Governors is to continue to offer the best education to the Lostock Hall Community.
