Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium money is additional funding which is allocated to schools to be used to support children who belong to groups which are vulnerable to underachievement. This includes children who are entitled to free school meals and children who are looked after by the local authority. The purpose of this funding is to accelerate progress and raise attainment.

All members of staff and the governing body accept responsibility for ‘socially disadvantaged’ pupils and are committed to meeting their pastoral, social and academic needs within a caring and nurturing environment. We hope that each child will develop a love for learning and acquire skills and abilities that they will use for the rest of their lives.

As a Co-operative School, our strategy is underpinned by our Cooperative Values which are:

Self-help, Self-responsibility, Equality, Democracy, Ethical Values
