Ofsted Reports & Finance Information

Dear Parents

As you are aware we had our graded Ofsted inspection on the 8th and 9th May 2024.

I am pleased to share the report with you which grades us ‘Good’ in all areas. This will be published on the Ofsted website in the next 5 days.

When writing the reports, inspectors are limited, not only in their word count but also in the language they are allowed to use.  So much more was said about our school across the two days, so I have provided a snapshot of this below:

Quality of Education

There is clear ambition for our curriculum.

The curriculum has a clear intent of what is taught across all subjects.

All areas meet the requirements in the National Curriculum.

There is consistency of teaching across each cohort and year groups.

Our lessons are well-resourced.

Percentage scores of data are above national averages.

Behaviour & Attitudes

Children feel safe at school.

Children are in good routines.

The behaviour at playtimes is good.

There is strong Pastoral support when needed.

The children are proud to attend our school, they are respectful and have strong relationships with staff/key adults in school.

The children are courteous and well mannered.

Personal Development

Children have very mature attitudes and have strong understanding of having positive mental health.

The children are confident that they can share any concerns with a trusted adult.

Our children are tolerant and accepting of others, celebrating differences within our school community.

Children are resilient and ready to ‘have a go’!

EYFS

Our curriculum in Early Years prioritises language skills which is modelled by staff at every opportunity.

There is ambition for our children within the strong environment encompassing our indoor and outdoor provision available.

Our children gain a ‘GLD’ (Good Level of Development) whilst progressing through the EY.

Our children are risk takers within their environment, they respond to situations with resilience.

Leadership & Management

Staff are happy and supported at work.

Each day our children follow our vision of ‘being the best that they can be!’ I am proud of all of our children and staff and feel very fortunate of the support we receive from our skilled Governors.

We are committed to continual improvement as a team and already have plans in place to keep moving forward.  On the scale within the ‘Good’ grade, the feedback we received gives us confidence that we sit within the upper end of this grade.

Thank you for the part that you played in the process in sharing your views and all that you value and appreciate about the work we do.  Should you have any questions regarding the report, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely

Mrs Webb
