Whilst watching these clips think about:
How does the setting compare to the picture of Berk you had been thinking about?
How do the characters compare to the pictures of the characters you had in your mind?
Which character/s do not exist in the book at all? Astrid!
Today you will do as the film makers did and invent a best friend for Hiccup who will feature in his next adventure!
Today you are going to describe a best friend (can be male or female) for Hiccup.
What do they look like?
What personality traits do they have?
Where do they live?
What is it about him or her that makes them a suitable companion for Hiccup?
You might choose to use the character description sheet to describe your character.
After you have finished writing a good description, you can draw him/her.
