Thursday - read the Charles Darwin Diary extract very carefully then answer the questions to find the relevant information.
This week we are continuing to look at measures and will be finding the areas of different shapes and exploring how we can use fomula to calculate areas and perimeters.
Today we are continuing to look at how to calculate the area of different types of triangles.
Task 1. watch the explanation video carefully and complete the activities given.
Task 2. Answer the questions on the task sheets.
As part of our contrasting localities topic, this week we are looking at important buildings and landmarks in London and are going to find information about when and why they were built. Choose 4 or 5 different buildings to research and use the question prompt sheet to help you. Use the information sheets as a starting point for your research. You could create a powerpoint about the buildings or write information about each one and have a go at sketching the building or landmark.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
