First Week in Reception
The children have all settled in and are learning our new routines well. Due to the hot weather this week please send children into school with a hat and apply sun cream before the school day. As stated on Miss Duce's blog Reception are currently finishing school earlier at the earlier time of 3.05pm. This is to stagger start times to stop the playground becoming too busy. In future we will share information with you on the Reception Blog, under Class Pages.
Thanks,
The Reception Team
Just a reminder that if you would like to book a place at the breakfast or after school club, please contact Mrs Lang at ascc@lostockhallcps.co.uk
Information relating to the opening of the clubs in September can be found on the Linden Stay and Play section of the website (also in the 'Parents' section).
Times and dates of school visits in September (taking place instead of the home visits this year) have now been emailed out, as well as information about school start dates and times. Please check junk mail folders in case it may have been delivered to this folder. If you haven't received your email, please get in touch reception@lostockhallcps.co.uk
Thank you.
As we are not able to meet you this year before September, we've done a little video each to introduce ourselves and read you a story. Please follow the links below!

Hello and welcome! Below you will find information about induction and starting school at Lostock Hall Community Primary School. We would normally go through this powerpoint with you at an induction meeting, but because of the current circumstances, we have uploaded it here and recorded an audio clip on each page to explain things in a little more depth.
Hello everyone....please see the form below which we would like you to fill in as much as you can and email it back to reception@lostockhallcps.co.uk
Alternatively, you may bring it with you to the school visit appointment you will be given in the first week of September, but we would prefer an email copy if at all possible.
At the end of the document, there is a section on the areas of learning for pre-schools or nurseries to fill in if your child has been attending one. Please do not worry if you aren't able to fill all the form in, as we will be able to discuss things at the school visits in September.
Thank you,
The Reception Team
