Today we are looking at the words for different pets in French.

Firstly look at the pet vocabulary sheet below. Next please have a go at playing the following memory game with a family member: 

Instructions 

Cut up the picture and vocabulary cards - see below

Shuffle the cards together

Place them face down on the table

Take turns to turn over two cards at a time – do they match? See who can find the most matching pairs.

Extra Challenge – for every card you turn over, tell the other players what it says. For example, if you turn over a picture of a rabbit, say c’est un lapin, if you turn over the words une tortue, do the action for a tortoise.
