Over the next few days we are going to be researching and writing a non-chronological report about one of the creatures that lives on Pandora from the film ' Avatar.'.
Firstly, please watch the following You Tube video on ‘The World of Pandora’
Now decide which animal you would like to research and what information we need to find out so we can hone in on the most relevant information on the internet.
Task - Please draw their chosen animal and write key words and phrases to describe it around the picture. write notes about their chosen animal. The following websites may be useful for your research:

Today you will be using your drawing and research notes from yesterday to create formal notes about your chosen animal from Pandora.
Task - Read the formal notes about the Direhorse - see below. Can you using subheadings, bullet points and short sentences to write formal notes about your chosen animal.

Today and tomorrow, please using your formal notes from yesterday to create a non - chronological report about your chosen Pandoran animal. Remember to include a title, introduction, and three main paragraphs including subheadings. At the end of your report include a short conclusion or 'rounding off' paragraph.
